I have a chronic desire to make things LOL here is my collection of things made:

In 16 weeks of a Furniture Making Certification Course by NAFA, I built a stool and a table shelf from scratch!

humble beginnings of 11 planks of pine wood, anticipating its future of becoming a lovely 4-legged stool.

while I've been fantasizing about building my own future home, learning to build furniture from scratch has proven itself to be an INCREDIBLY humbling experience. i hit a really steep learning curve halfway through the course and began to dread the classes.

but a reality check quickly helped me understand again that this IS the learning process. as someone whose prior experience in this field is D&T lessons 12 years ago, it would definitely take a while more for me to pick up this new skill.

(my classmates were so encouraging, which helped tremendously in these moments)
